Designed from the ground up for modern combat requirements, the HK45 incorporates an enlarged, ambidextrous magazine release and bilateral slide releases, allowing intuitive operation with either hand.
The 4.46" cold-hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling and an O-ring lockup system, promoting tight lockup and extended barrel life. HK rates the platform for 20,000 rounds, underscoring its durability.
A manual safety/decocker lever gives shooters the flexibility of cocked-and-locked carry or traditional DA/SA operation. An integrated lock-out safety provides additional storage security.
The glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame houses interchangeable backstraps for customized grip size and an integral MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail for lights or lasers. Forward and rear slide serrations plus an anti-glare rib aid in confident manipulation and sight alignment.
