Polymer upper and lower receivers cut as much as 1.5 lb compared with standard aluminum M4-style carbines, making this rifle quick to shoulder and easy to carry.
The 16" 4150 chrome-moly pencil barrel is chrome-lined in both bore and chamber, uses a 1:9 RH twist for common 55- to 69-grain loads, and is threaded 1/2-28 with an A2 bird-cage flash suppressor.
As an Optics Ready Carbine, the flat-top receiver and low-profile gas block provide uninterrupted rail space. The included Bushnell Trophy red dot on a riser mount offers an immediate sighting solution while keeping weight to a minimum.
A six-position collapsible stock, checkered polymer pistol grip, and M4-style ribbed carbine handguards give familiar ergonomics. The direct-impingement, carbine-length gas system maintains compatibility with standard AR-15 parts and accessories.
Serial prefix “CRB” places production in Bushmaster’s Windham era, reflecting the company’s early work with composite receiver technology and adding collectible interest for fans of lightweight AR development.
