What’s Included
- Ruger SR45 pistol
- 1× 10-round factory Ruger SR45 stainless steel magazine with polymer floorplate
Introduced in 2013 and discontinued in 2017, the SR45 was Ruger’s answer to shooters wanting .45 ACP power in a slim, striker-fired platform. The 380- serial prefix confirms placement within the dedicated SR45 production block.
Controls are fully ambidextrous. Both the manual thumb safety and magazine release can be operated from either side, making the pistol equally suited to right- or left-handed users. A pivoting loaded-chamber indicator provides immediate visual and tactile status.
The 4.5" hammer-forged stainless barrel works with the 1:16 RH twist rate to stabilize a wide range of .45 ACP loads. Coupled with the matte stainless slide and black polymer frame, the two-tone finish offers durability and modern styling.
Shooter interface is enhanced by a stippled grip with interchangeable backstrap, adjustable 3-dot sights, and rear cocking serrations. An integral accessory rail allows quick attachment of lights or lasers.
With a 10+1 capacity, thin 1.27" profile, and multiple passive safeties—including trigger blade, striker blocker, and magazine disconnect—the SR45 balances power, handling, and safety features in a discontinued model that is increasingly hard to find.
