The Action V magnum-length receiver is the least common of the five Model 75 actions, giving this rifle added collector appeal while chambering the hard-hitting 7mm Remington Magnum. Its three-lug bolt provides a short 70° throw for fast follow-up shots and smooth cycling.
The Finnlight configuration trims weight without sacrificing strength. A 22.5 inch stainless steel barrel is deeply fluted to shed ounces and improve cooling, capped by a recessed crown for added muzzle protection and accuracy.
A matte stainless finish on both barrel and receiver resists corrosion in harsh field conditions. Integral tapered dovetail rails accept the included Opti-Lock ringmounts, allowing rapid, solid scope installation without added bases.
The black synthetic stock is reinforced with glass fiber for rigidity and features soft-touch inserts, a right-hand palm swell, QD sling studs, and an adjustable length of pull set at 14.25 inches. Combined with the rifle’s light profile, it offers comfortable carry and control in rough terrain.
Sako’s user-adjustable single-stage trigger can be set between 2 and 4 pounds, while a two-position lever safety locks the bolt for secure handling. The Total-Control magazine latch lets the shooter load or unload with the magazine locked in place, adding confidence during rigorous hunts.
