Introduced in 2020, the SAR9 X Black Package builds on the Turkish Armed Forces-adopted SAR 9 platform that passed a 150,000-round endurance test. The X variant adds six slide lightening cuts and an optic-ready RMS-c footprint, giving shooters the flexibility to mount popular micro red dots without gunsmithing.
A forged carbon-steel barrel, paired with a black-matte finished slide featuring front and rear cocking serrations, promotes durability and positive manipulation. The glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame keeps overall weight manageable while retaining full-size control.
Unlike most striker-fired pistols, the SAR9 X includes ambidextrous manual thumb safeties in addition to a trigger safety blade, firing pin block, and loaded-chamber viewport, offering multiple layers of mechanical security. Interchangeable backstraps let users fine-tune grip circumference for a confident hold.
Fixed three-dot sights come standard, and the integral accessory rail arrives pre-mounted with a factory SAR weapon light, making the pistol turnkey for low-light use. The red trigger-safety blade provides a visual and tactile reference while maintaining the clean break SAR pistols are known for.
