Hand-fitted in the Sig Sauer Custom Shop, the STX uses a 5-inch match-grade carbon steel barrel to deliver tight mechanical lock-up and consistent accuracy. The slide wears a flat-top profile with polished serration flats, adding both visual contrast and smoother manipulation.
The reverse two-tone aesthetic combines a Nitron black slide with a natural matte stainless frame. Burled maple grips, laser-etched with the SIG SAUER logo, complement the finish while offering a solid purchase.
SIGLITE tritium night sights—an adjustable rear and a bright front—provide a clear, low-light sight picture over a 6.5-inch radius. The skeletonized trigger and Commander-style hammer deliver a crisp single-action break, while the grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, and firing-pin safety add layered protection.
Practical enhancements include 25 lpi front-strap checkering, 20 lpi mainspring-housing checkering, and an integral beveled magwell for quicker reloads. Serial prefix 54E places this pistol in the 2022 Custom Shop production batch, reflecting the most current manufacturing refinements.
