Produced by the Kimber Custom Shop, this Pro Covert II is part of an extremely limited “Sallyport” commemorative run. The factory engraving—SALLYPORT text and falcon emblem—appears cleanly on the slide and is protected by the charcoal-gray KimPro II finish.
The pistol maintains the trusted 1911 single-action platform but scales it to a compact 4" configuration. A 7075-T7 aluminum frame keeps carry weight down while retaining the strength demanded by .45 ACP. Frontstrap and mainspring housing are 30 LPI checkered with a bordered base for a solid grip.
Shootability is enhanced by a skeletonized match-grade trigger, extended thumb safety, beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized combat hammer. Fixed tritium 3-dot night sights—Tactical Wedge rear and tritium front blade—deliver low-light capability straight from the factory.
Gray/black checkered G-10 grip panels offer durable control, and a full-length guide rod ensures consistent slide travel. A lanyard loop at the butt supports field carry requirements, reflecting the contract origins of this special model.
