Built on a billet 6061-T6 aluminum lower and closed-bolt 4140 steel upper, it offers modern MAC-style performance in a collectible, USA-made package.

The Grim Reaper edition debuted in 2021 as a factory-applied, limited-production treatment. Each pistol receives matching grey/black Cerakote with skull-themed graphics, engraving on the receiver and barrel shroud, and the phrase "Smile… Wait for the Flash." etched on the muzzle end cap.
A 4.5 inch button-rifled 4140 steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and protected by the included shroud, allowing easy attachment of muzzle devices or suppressors when desired. The simple blowback, closed-bolt action keeps controls familiar while improving accuracy over older open-bolt MAC-style variants.
The billet 6061-T6 aluminum lower incorporates an integral Picatinny accessory rail, QD sling cup, and rear interface for a brace or stock (where permitted). A top-mounted charging handle, rotating lever safety/selector, and textured finger-groove grips round out the handling features.
Adjustable protected iron sights—front post and rear aperture/notch—provide a usable sight picture out of the box. With 30+1 rounds on tap and modern manufacturing throughout, this limited-edition Defender blends shootability with collector appeal.
