What’s Included
- Ruger SR22 pistol
- (2) 10-round Ruger factory steel magazines
The pistol uses a double-action/single-action blowback system with an external spur hammer, delivering a familiar trigger feel for shooters who train with centerfire sidearms. An ambidextrous thumb safety/decocker and push-button magazine release support intuitive operation from either hand.
The fixed stainless barrel is press-fit to the frame, enhancing intrinsic accuracy by eliminating barrel-tilt movement common in many semi-auto designs. A 1:16" right-hand twist stabilizes a wide range of .22 LR loads, while the loaded-chamber inspection port offers instant visual confirmation of status.
The black anodized slide features front and rear serrations for positive manipulation and an external extractor for consistent ejection. Ruger’s fully adjustable rear sight and white-dot front blade form a crisp 3-dot sight picture, allowing easy elevation and windage corrections without tools.
A glass-filled polymer frame keeps weight to a nimble 17 oz and includes an accessory rail for lights or lasers. Interchangeable rubberized backstraps let the shooter tailor grip size for optimal control, an uncommon feature in pistols of this class.
This example carries the early 361- serial prefix and Ruger part number 3600, marking it as one of the first SR22 variants to hit the market.
