Variant 1 control layout places the safety/decocker lever on the left side, allowing either cocked-and-locked carry or a double-action first shot, giving the shooter flexible readiness options.
The 4.25-inch cold-hammer-forged polygonal barrel partners with HK’s recoil buffer system for long service life and reduced felt recoil. Polygonal rifling also promotes consistent velocity and easier maintenance.
Fixed Meprolight Tru-Dot tritium sights provide a bright, three-dot sight picture in low light, while front and rear cocking serrations on the nitro-carburized slide ensure confident manipulation.
