Thompson/Center ThunderHawk .50 Cal Stainless Inline Muzzleloader, 21" Barrel
This ThunderHawk is an early-generation Thompson/Center inline muzzleloader, produced in the mid-1990s and built on a 21" stainless steel barrel. The stainless construction, synthetic stock, and 1-in-38" twist made the ThunderHawk stand out among its contemporaries, offering corrosion resistance and reliable accuracy in a compact carbine format. Serial prefix “S” confirms the factory stainless variant.

What’s Included
- Aluminum Weaver-style scope rings (installed)
The 21" stainless steel barrel keeps overall length down while still providing adequate velocity for hunting loads. Stainless construction resists rust better than blued steel—valuable on a black-powder gun that sees corrosive fouling.
An inline percussion design channels ignition directly to the charge for faster lock time than side-lock designs. It is set up for #11 percussion caps and can accept the optional 209-primer conversion kit for users who prefer a hotter, more weather-resistant primer.
The black synthetic stock offers molded diamond checkering for a sure grip in wet conditions. A soft recoil pad and sling-swivel studs come factory-installed, making the rifle comfortable to shoot and easy to carry.
An adjustable single-stage trigger allows the shooter to tailor pull weight, while a knurled charging handle aids in positive primer seating. A drilled-and-tapped receiver with Weaver rings already mounted simplifies scope installation; the rifle is shipped without open sights.
