Its compact 4.6 inch cold-hammer-forged CMV steel barrel, roller-delayed blowback action, and HK-pattern controls give buyers an authentic, highly reliable platform that stays under the NFA short-barrel threshold while remaining parts-compatible with most MP5K accessories.

The AP5-M uses a non-reciprocating left-side charging handle with the familiar HK slap-to-lock operation, making reloads intuitive and fast. A four-position diopter rear drum sight pairs with a hooded post front sight for precise target engagement out of the box, while the included Picatinny rail supports optics without permanent modification.
Its flush, non-threaded barrel eliminates the need for a muzzle device and helps keep overall length to a handy 12.79 inches, ideal for confined environments or discreet storage. Reinforced weld plates on the stamped steel receiver mirror original German military construction for long-term durability.
At just 4.43 lb, the AP5-M remains easy to maneuver yet soaks up recoil thanks to the proven roller-delayed system. The polymer pistol grip and MP5K-style hand-stop fore-end provide secure control, and full-size HK pattern magazines ensure generous 30+1 capacity.
