J.L.D. Enterprises A-Prefix PTR-91 .308 Win Semi-Automatic Rifle with Custom Ventilated Aluminum Fore-End & 5-Prong Flash Suppressor
Early A-prefix PTR-91 rifles like this one are prized for their close mechanical fidelity to the HK91/G3 and for being the first U.S.-made commercial roller-delayed G3 clones. Built by J.L.D. Enterprises on original Portuguese FMP/HK tooling, this .308 Win semi-auto combines collector appeal with practical upgrades, including a hard-anodized aluminum fore-end and a threaded muzzle wearing a 5-prong flash suppressor.

What’s Included
- J.L.D. Enterprises PTR-91 semi-automatic rifle with aftermarket ventilated aluminum fore-end and 5-prong flash suppressor
- Six (6) surplus steel HK G3-pattern 20-round magazines
This rifle operates on the proven roller-delayed blowback system, delivering consistent cycling with .308 Winchester. The stamped-steel receiver is finished in black paint-over-Parkerizing, matching the fixed polymer stock and pistol grip for a uniform, durable appearance.
The 18-inch carbon-steel barrel is button-rifled with a 1:10 right-hand twist and is factory-threaded, making the included 5-prong flash suppressor an easy fit. The aftermarket hard-anodized aluminum handguard adds ventilation and accessory space while trimming weight compared with the original polymer unit.
Sights are classic HK: a hooded front post and a four-position rotary diopter rear. Although the rear windage knob is broken, parts compatibility with surplus G3 components simplifies replacement.
Collectors value this model for its early production status, U.S. manufacture, and parts interchangeability with HK-pattern rifles. The package is rounded out by six surplus 20-round steel magazines, giving the new owner ample capacity right out of the box.
