The KSG’s bullpup design places the action and magazines behind the trigger group, allowing the 18.5-inch steel barrel to ride inside a shotgun that measures just over two feet long. This short overall length makes it well-suited for tight quarters without sacrificing muzzle velocity or pattern performance.
Kel-Tec equips the KSG with two independent 7-round magazine tubes and a manual selector lever. Load each tube with different shell types or keep both filled for a full 14-round reserve, plus one in the chamber for a 14+1 total when using 2-3/4-inch shells.
A factory-applied Titanium gray Cerakote finish on the receiver and butt assembly adds corrosion resistance and a distinctive two-tone appearance. The polymer frame, stock, and forend keep weight manageable while maintaining durability.
The 13-inch numbered Picatinny top rail provides ample space for optics, iron sights, or accessories. The polymer forend includes M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions for mounting lights, grips, or other gear without added bulk.
The threaded, smooth-bore barrel features a cylinder choke profile and a 3-inch chamber, giving the shooter flexibility to run a wide range of 12-gauge ammunition. Ambidextrous cross-bolt safety, downward ejection, and mirrored magazine release levers make operation intuitive for right- or left-handed users.
