The SXP Defender’s inertia-assisted Speed Pump system uses recoil energy to start the action rearward, trimming split-seconds from each cycle. Combined with the smooth dual action bars, it allows for rapid follow-up shots without sacrificing control.
A four-lug rotary bolt locks directly into the barrel extension for added strength. This design keeps the aluminum alloy receiver lightweight while still managing 3" magnum loads with confidence.
The 18" chrome-lined steel barrel features a fixed Cylinder bore, ideal for spread at defensive distances. A brass bead front sight provides a clear, traditional aiming point, and the receiver comes drilled and tapped for optics bases if preferred.
The composite stock and ribbed polymer fore-end are finished in matte black to match the receiver and barrel. A 13.5" length of pull and thick recoil pad help manage recoil, while the cross-bolt safety sits conveniently at the rear of the trigger guard.
