Built by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield, it features a black Melonite-finished slide, aggressive mega-lock grip texturing, and both loaded-chamber and striker-status indicators—details that make quick status checks simple. Dating to 2013, this example remains in excellent condition and comes with a full complement of original XD Gear accessories plus a DPM recoil-reduction system.

The heart of this pistol is its 4.5-inch hammer-forged stainless steel barrel, built to match-grade specs for consistent accuracy. A 1:16 right-hand twist stabilizes heavy .45 ACP projectiles, while the Melonite-treated slide resists corrosion and wear.
Springfield’s XD(M) frame combines interchangeable backstraps with aggressive mega-lock texturing, allowing the shooter to tailor grip size without sacrificing control. An ambidextrous magazine release supports either-hand operation.
Safety is handled by a dual-system pivoting trigger and a grip safety; when paired with tactile and visual loaded-chamber and striker-status indicators, the shooter receives immediate feedback on the pistol’s readiness.
