The 26-inch carbon-steel barrel uses Remington’s threaded choke system and ships with a Modified tube installed, giving you out-of-the-box versatility for waterfowl decoys or upland fields. A single metal front bead offers quick target acquisition along the vent rib.
Remington’s self-compensating gas system, complete with barrel seal activator, adjusts automatically to the pressure of each shell length. This design keeps cycling smooth while helping to tame recoil, especially with heavy 3½" loads.
The serial prefix “SM” confirms Super Magnum status, meaning the action and gas system were built at the factory for reliable feeding of 3½" magnums. Production ended in 2020, making clean examples increasingly hard to find.
The synthetic stock and matching fore-end wear Realtree Hardwoods HD camo, molded checkering for a sure grip, and a soft recoil pad. Sling swivel studs come installed, and the 13.5" length of pull fits a wide range of shooters.
