The SFx Rival-S Dark Side distills Canik’s competition DNA into a full-size, all-steel package. Launched in January 2023, this striker-fired 9 mm pairs a 5-inch match barrel with a weighty 42.72 oz forged-steel frame for fast follow-ups and flat recoil. A black-nitride finish, ported and fluted slide, and multi-footprint optic system deliver durability and flexibility that matter to shooters and collectors alike.

The Rival-S shifts the proven polymer SFx Rival into forged carbon steel, adding nearly half a pound of mass that tames muzzle rise without altering familiar Canik ergonomics. Ambidextrous slide stops and an extended, reversible magazine release support fast manipulations for right- or left-handed competitors.
A fluted and ported slide shaves reciprocating weight while enhancing cooling. Deep front and rear serrations give purchase for rapid press-checks, and the slide ships optics-ready with five included plates covering the most common red-dot footprints.
The 5-inch match barrel is crowned for target protection and pairs with a flat-faced aluminum trigger that breaks cleanly at approximately 3.8 lb and resets at 90 degrees. A red fiber-optic front sight and fully adjustable serrated rear blade provide a bright, glare-free aiming picture when irons are preferred.
A MIL-STD-1913 four-slot dust-cover rail accepts weapon lights or lasers, and textured G10 grip panels secure the firing hand under recoil. Import markings are discrete: “Made in Turkey” and CENTURY ARMS INC Georgia, VT.
