Colt built this LE6920 variant as a collaboration with Magpul, equipping the rifle from the factory with MOE stock, pistol grip, and carbine handguard. The result is a lightweight, durable, and fully mil-spec platform that needs no aftermarket upgrades to be mission ready.
The 16-inch, 4150 CMV steel barrel is chrome-lined for longevity, cut to the M4 profile, and threaded 1/2x28 for muzzle devices. A bayonet lug and A2 flash hider remain in place, while the true 1:7 twist easily stabilizes heavier 5.56mm projectiles.
Forged 7075-T6 upper and lower receivers wear Colt’s matte black hard-coat anodizing. The flat-top upper carries an integral Picatinny rail, paired with an F-height A2 front sight and a Magpul MBUS Gen 2 flip-up rear, giving shooters immediate sighting options and room for optics.
The direct-impingement action, manual safety, and six-position collapsible MOE stock follow the familiar AR-15 manual of arms. Combined with the MOE grip and handguard, the rifle offers proven ergonomics and compatibility with widely available accessories.
Five included 30-round magazines—four polymer PMAGs and one USGI aluminum—complete the package, ensuring ample capacity for range sessions or duty use.
