Released in 2021, the Umarex HK 416 D is a factory-licensed rimfire version of the world-renowned HK416. The aluminium upper and lower receivers replicate the dimensions and controls of the centerfire gun, including a non-functional forward-assist housing for visual authenticity. Internally, a straight-blowback system keeps operation simple and reliable while still providing a last-round bolt hold-open—ideal for realistic manual-of-arms practice.
The 16.1-inch barrel is threaded 1/2-28 RH and capped with an A2-style flash hider, making it suppressor-ready right out of the box. A recessed crown protects the rifling, and German proof standards are evident in the matching serial numbers on the barrel sleeve and bolt.
Up front, a 13-inch free-float aluminium M-LOK handguard offers ample space for lights, bipods, or other accessories. A full-length Picatinny top rail mates seamlessly with flip-up HK-style polymer sights, allowing immediate use or easy optic installation.
The six-position collapsible stock features an HK buttpad and QD sling swivel recess, letting shooters tailor length of pull for comfort or compact storage. An HK416-pattern textured pistol grip completes the familiar handling package.
Whether you’re looking for cost-effective training, a suppressor host, or simply an HK-correct .22 LR rifle, this HK 416 D stands out for its licensed design, robust build, and feature set that mirrors its 5.56 NATO counterpart.
