The 20-inch 4140 chrome-moly barrel features 5R rifling, a medium contour, and a 5/8-24 threaded muzzle for easy suppressor or brake installation. Ruger’s hybrid chamber accepts both 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem. loads while supporting match-grade accuracy.
An integral 20 MOA Picatinny rail sits on the receiver for straightforward scope mounting. The user-replaceable barrel system lets owners change barrels with common tools, enhancing long-term versatility.
The three-lug, full-diameter bolt runs smoothly in the one-piece bolt body and wears an oversized bolt knob for positive manipulation. Ruger’s Marksman Adjustable trigger lets the shooter fine-tune pull weight from 2.25 to 5 pounds, and an ambidextrous 45° safety selector offers intuitive control.
The folding stock folds to the left for transport and adjusts for comb height and length of pull without tools. QD sling cups, a bottom Picatinny rail, and an AR-pattern pistol grip broaden accessory options, while the 15-inch free-float aluminum KeyMod handguard keeps weight balanced and provides mounting slots along its length.
