Q engineered the Mini FIX around a 45° short-throw bolt that cycles quickly while maintaining a straight-line recoil path. The integral Picatinny top rail spans the length of the 7075-T6 receiver, giving ample room for optics without worrying about zero shift between action and handguard.
The 16" stainless barrel is both lightweight and user-changeable with a single Torx driver, allowing caliber swaps or future replacements without a gunsmith. It is threaded 1/2-28 and topped with Q’s taper-mount Cherry Bomb muzzle brake, ready for direct attachment of Q suppressor mounts.
Q’s free-float Q-Sert handguard uses bronze nuts for tool-less accessory attachment, keeping the rifle slim while still offering rail segments where needed. Inside, a two-stage flat-faced match trigger delivers a crisp break, and an ambidextrous safety selector mirrors familiar AR-pattern controls.
The skeletonized aluminum stock folds alongside the bolt handle to shrink overall length to 25.3" for transport. Once deployed, it locks solidly and offers 13.5" length of pull with an adjustable cheek piece, giving the Mini FIX a stable, repeatable shooting position in a package that weighs just over six pounds.
