The Beretta Cx4 Storm is a compact, ambidextrous 9mm carbine designed by Italdesign Giugiaro and built in Italy. This 2010 production example, marked with the Italian “CL” date code, features a cold-hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel, a lightweight technopolymer frame, and user-configurable controls. Its straight-blowback system, reversible magazine release and charging handle, and modular magazine-well adapters make it a versatile choice for shooters who already own Beretta 92 or Px4 magazines.

The Cx4 Storm’s glass-fiber-reinforced technopolymer shell houses the action and can be swapped for left-side ejection, allowing true ambidextrous operation. Both the magazine release and charging handle are reversible without tools, and the cross-bolt safety is centrally placed for easy access.
Beretta’s 16.6-inch cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel resists corrosion and promotes long service life. The straight-blowback action cycles standard-pressure 9mm Luger ammunition reliably while keeping maintenance simple.
A retractable Picatinny rail hides inside the fore-end, and two additional rail sections are supplied, giving the shooter multiple mounting points for optics, lights, or accessories. Polymer aperture/post sights ship installed and can be removed when optics are preferred.
At only 29.7 inches overall and roughly 5.7 pounds unloaded, the Cx4 is easy to maneuver. The thumbhole stock offers a 14-inch length of pull and can be fine-tuned with optional spacers.
