Built on matching forged 7075-T6 receivers, it pairs a 20-inch government-profile barrel with classic brown polymer furniture, a carry-handle upper, and an open three-prong flash hider to evoke the look of early 1950s AR-10 prototypes while retaining modern Aero Precision quality.

This build centers on Aero Precision’s M5 receiver set, marked “AERO PRECISION LLC / TACOMA, WA,” and compatible with SR-25/DPMS magazines. Both upper and lower carry the matching “A” forging code and a durable matte black hard-coat anodized finish.
The 20-inch, 5/8-24 threaded barrel uses a rifle-length gas system and a government profile for balanced weight and reliable function. An open three-prong “duckbill” flash hider completes the period-correct appearance while maintaining modern threading for future muzzle accessories.
Furniture consists of a fixed A1-pattern stock with trap-door buttplate, two-piece polymer handguards, and an A1-style pistol grip, all finished in retro brown. A rear sling swivel is installed on the stock for practical field carry.
Sighting is handled by a classic A-frame front sight base with bayonet lug and a fully adjustable A2 aperture rear sight integral to the carry handle, giving a rugged, no-batteries solution right out of the box.
