SIG Sauer P227R Full-Size .45 ACP DA/SA Pistol – Threaded 5.25" Barrel, SIGLITE Night Sights, 14+1 Capacity
Produced only from 2013 to 2019, the P227R was SIG Sauer’s first classic-line double-stack .45 ACP, combining the proven P220 slide with a widened alloy frame that holds 14 rounds. This example adds a factory-threaded 5.25" barrel and a spare 4.4" standard barrel, giving buyers suppression-ready versatility plus the original carry length. Clean lines, scarce production numbers, and its place as the sole double-stack .45 in SIG’s legacy lineup make this pistol both practical and collectible.

What’s Included
- SIG Sauer P227R pistol with 5.25" carbon-steel threaded barrel (0.578-28 RH)
- Factory SIG Sauer 4.4" standard barrel (.45 ACP)
- 2 × 14-round steel magazines with extended P227 sleeves
- 2 × 10-round flush-fit steel magazines (Italian-made)
- SIG Sauer factory plastic hard case
The full-size railed frame offers a four-slot Picatinny rail for lights or lasers, while the Nitron-finished slide matches the hard-anodized alloy frame for uniform matte black protection.
DA/SA operation with a frame-mounted decocker delivers a familiar SIG trigger feel, and the exposed hammer makes manual status checks quick. E2 wrap-around grips reduce circumference, giving most shooters a comfortable reach to the trigger despite the double-stack design.
SIGLITE tritium night sights are dovetailed front and rear, providing a bright 3-dot picture in low light. Combined with the threaded barrel, the P227R is ready for suppressed or night-time use straight from the case.
This discontinued model enjoys a cult following among SIG collectors. Its excellent mechanical condition, dual-barrel setup, and complete magazine assortment enhance both its utility and long-term value.
