This TRS Comp is Nighthawk Custom’s flagship Tactical Ready Series pistol, hand-built on the maker’s proprietary double-stack 2011-style frame and equipped from the factory with an Aimpoint ACRO P-2 red-dot. An integral single-port compensator, match-grade 4.375 inch barrel, and 20-round magazines deliver competition-ready performance in an as-new package that shows virtually no handling marks.

The TRS Comp is the first Nighthawk to use the company’s NDS-prefix double-stack frame, introduced in 2021 to give 1911 enthusiasts 20-plus-one capacity without sacrificing the familiar single-action feel. Each pistol is completed start-to-finish by one gunsmith under Nighthawk’s “One Gun, One Gunsmith” philosophy.
An integral single-port compensator is machined from the same stainless steel billet as the 4.375 inch match-grade barrel, directing gas upward to cut muzzle rise and keep sights flat under rapid fire. The barrel is throated and polished for reliable feeding with a wide range of 9 mm loads.
The slide wears a durable black-nitride finish, hex-dimple rear cocking serrations, and an optic cut specifically for the enclosed Aimpoint ACRO footprint. The included ACRO P-2 pairs with a 14 karat gold bead front sight and Heinie Ledge rear for instant target acquisition with or without the dot.
Controls follow the proven Series-70 pattern: left-side thumb safety, grip safety, and a flat-faced aluminum trigger with a crisp, light break. G-10 hex-dimple grips and a matching mainspring housing provide extra purchase, and the full-size steel frame keeps recoil manageable at an unloaded 39.6 ounces.
