The optics-ready slide uses Smith & Wesson’s factory M2.0 multi-plate system to mount popular red-dot footprints. Tall steel white-dot sights are installed from the factory and provide co-witness with mounted optics.
An upgraded Apex Tactical Action Enhancement trigger is installed. The flat-faced aluminum shoe delivers a straight press and a distinct tactile reset, complementing the pistol’s striker-fired action and internal safety system.
The 4.0 in stainless-steel barrel features a durable black Armornite finish and a 1:10 RH twist. The slide carries matching Armornite treatment with scalloped cocking serrations and a removable cover plate for the optic cut.
The compact polymer frame wears aggressive M2.0 texture, an embedded stainless-steel chassis for rigidity, and a three-slot Picatinny rail on the dust cover. The reversible, ambidextrous magazine release and interchangeable palmswell backstraps allow straightforward user fit. This submodel deletes the thumb safety while retaining the trigger safety, striker block, and sear deactivation lever.
