This semi-compact model retains the robust slide-inside-frame design that helps the Baby Desert Eagle series track smoothly under recoil. The polymer frame cuts weight while preserving durability, and its textured finger-groove grip gives a firm, consistent hold.
An integral Picatinny rail at the dust cover accepts lights or lasers without adding aftermarket parts. Fixed three-dot combat sights provide a clear sight picture, and both decocker levers are ambidextrous for left- or right-handed operation.
The cold hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling for long service life and easier cleaning. Combined with the locked-breech tilting-barrel system, it delivers reliable accuracy with common .40 S&W loads.
External controls include a DA/SA trigger with a smooth double-action pull for the first shot and a crisp single-action break for follow-ups. The external hammer allows traditional thumb-cocking or decocking, depending on shooter preference.
