Savage Arms Model 110 Pre-AccuTrigger Sporter .270 Win. Bolt-Action Rifle, 22" Blued Barrel, Walnut Stock
This late 20th-century Savage Model 110 is a pre-AccuTrigger sporter chambered in .270 Winchester. It features the original barrel-nut system and floating bolt head that give the 110 line its reputation for solid accuracy. A 22-inch blued carbon-steel barrel, satin walnut Monte-Carlo stock, and blind four-round magazine keep the rifle light, balanced, and ready for scoped hunting duty.

The pre-AccuTrigger configuration offers a traditional single-stage pull that many shooters still prefer for its straightforward feel. Safety is managed by Savage’s three-position tang lever, allowing quick selection between safe, bolt-unlock, and fire modes without lifting the rifle from the shoulder.
The 22-inch button-rifled sporter barrel balances well with the walnut stock, making the rifle easy to carry on long hikes yet stable for accurate shots. The barrel is free-floated via the signature barrel-nut system, simplifying headspace control and aiding consistency.
Savage’s floating bolt head provides precise lug alignment to the receiver, promoting uniform lock-up and helping the Model 110 achieve accuracy often associated with more expensive rifles. The carbon-steel receiver is drilled and tapped and already fitted with Weaver bases, so adding optics is straightforward.
The satin-finished walnut stock sports a raised Monte-Carlo comb and impressed checkering for a secure grip. A 13.5-inch length of pull fits most adult shooters, while the blind internal magazine keeps weight down and profile sleek.
