The MCX-SPEAR LT brings SIG Sauer’s battle-proven MCX system to a civilian-legal, full-size 5.56 NATO platform. This rifle combines a cold-hammer-forged, quick-change barrel with a short-stroke gas-piston action, fully ambidextrous controls, and a rugged Coyote Cerakote finish that mirrors the U.S. Army’s XM7 NGSW program styling. Its lightweight 13" M-LOK handguard and folding, telescoping stock make it adaptable for duty, competition, or defensive roles.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent – Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling – Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific condition notes: The rifle displays scattered scuffs and dings on the exterior. A glue-like residue is present near the muzzle, and there is moderate carbon build-up consistent with regular firing.

The 16" cold-hammer-forged carbon-steel barrel is nitrided for corrosion resistance and threaded 1/2-28 TPI, ready for muzzle devices or suppressors. A three-position adjustable gas block optimizes reliability when running suppressed or unsuppressed.
Thanks to the MCX dual captive recoil spring assembly, the rifle eliminates the traditional AR-15 buffer tube, allowing the Coyote-finished stock to fold flat while retaining full functionality. The stock also telescopes for length-of-pull adjustments and includes a five-position cheek-rest tube.
Controls are fully ambidextrous—magazine catch, bolt catch, safety selector, and charging handle—making the platform equally convenient for right- or left-handed shooters. The flat, two-stage Matchlite Duo trigger breaks at approximately 4.5 lb for a crisp, predictable pull.
A 13" lightweight M-LOK handguard provides ample rail estate for accessories, while the Gen II NIR-compliant anodized finish reduces infrared signature. This civilian MCX-SPEAR LT shares its core architecture with SIG’s military-adopted XM7, offering proven durability and modularity.
