It accepts all double-stack M&P 9 magazines, weighs barely over five pounds unloaded, and ships with three magazines and a purpose-built soft case—making it a versatile option for the range, truck, or home defense.

The FPC’s side-folding barreled assembly locks to the polymer buttstock, trimming the overall length to just 16.4 inches—shorter than many backpacks. A side-mounted charging slide doubles as the fold latch, so the carbine deploys quickly without extra levers or buttons.
Compatibility with any double-stack M&P 9 magazine means shooters can share mags between their handgun and carbine. Smith & Wesson includes two 23-rounders and a 17-rounder, and the stock holds two spare mags for on-board carry.
The 16.25-inch 4140 steel barrel features an Armornite finish and 1/2-28 TPI threading, ready for most 9mm suppressors or muzzle devices. A 1:10 RH twist stabilizes the full range of 9mm bullet weights.
An aluminum 15-slot M-LOK handguard with a continuous 12-o’clock Picatinny rail offers ample space for optics, lights, and accessories. The blowback action runs a stainless bolt, while the flat-face trigger, reversible magazine catch, and cross-bolt safety provide familiar, user-friendly controls.
