This Windham-made Bushmaster XM15-E2S combines the classic A2 fixed-carry-handle format with a heavy, magnetic-particle-inspected 20-inch barrel for dependable accuracy. Built in the 1990s as an AWB-compliant rifle, it features a non-threaded muzzle and lacks a forward assist, offering a period-correct configuration that appeals to shooters and collectors alike. A rubber Hogue-style pistol grip is the only modification, enhancing handling without changing the rifle’s original character.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There are minor superficial scratches and blemishes on the exterior finish. The bore remains clean and shiny.

Windham-era Bushmaster receivers are machined from 7075-T6 forged aluminum and protected by a hard-coat anodized and phosphate finish for long-term durability.
The 20" chrome-moly heavy barrel uses a 1:9 twist to stabilize a broad range of 55- to 77-grain 5.56 NATO loads. Magnetic particle inspection verifies the barrel’s integrity, and the rifle-length gas system keeps recoil impulse smooth.
A fixed A2 carry handle houses an adjustable rear aperture drum, paired with the classic F-marked front sight base and fixed post. Together they provide robust, repeatable iron-sight performance.
Furniture includes a fixed synthetic stock with trap-door buttplate and rear sling swivel, A2 ribbed polymer handguards, and an aftermarket Hogue-style rubber pistol grip that improves traction and comfort without altering the rifle’s original controls.
