The M&P FPC is Smith & Wesson’s first folding pistol-caliber carbine, combining compact storage with full-length performance. Its side-folding barrel and forend lock alongside the receiver to preserve optic zero while shrinking overall length to just 16.375 inches for transport. Chambered in 9mm Luger and fed by standard double-stack M&P9 magazines, this carbine gives shooters familiar controls, generous capacity, and modern modularity in a lightweight 5-pound package.

The FPC’s threaded 16.25-inch 4140 steel barrel accepts muzzle devices or suppressors via the common 1/2-28 TPI thread pattern, protected by a knurled cap when not in use. A full-length Picatinny top rail and M-LOK compatible folding forend give ample real estate for optics, lights, and accessories.
Smith & Wesson engineered the straight-blowback action with an integrated recoil buffer to tame impulse, while the flat-faced M2.0 trigger—new to S&W long guns—delivers a crisp, consistent break. The reversible side-charging handle and magazine release accommodate left- or right-handed shooters without modification.
Dual spare-magazine storage in the fixed polymer stock keeps two 23-round mags secured and instantly accessible, allowing up to 63 rounds on board before a reload from your belt. A QD sling cup molded into the stock simplifies sling attachment for range or duty use.
