Built on an Ergal 7075-T6 aluminum receiver and fitted with Benelli’s Comfortech-enhanced stock, this rifle offers rugged construction, low felt recoil, and compatibility with standard AR-15 magazines—features that make it appealing to both shooters and collectors.

Benelli’s patented A.R.G.O. system uses twin stainless pistons positioned just forward of the chamber, reducing fouling and delivering reliable cycling without added weight up front. The rotating-bolt head is identical to the unit in the combat-proven Benelli M4 shotgun, giving the MR1 a reputation for durability under hard use.
The 16-inch cold-hammer-forged Ni-Cr-Mo steel barrel is chrome-lined for longevity and corrosion resistance. Its medium-weight profile and 1:9 twist rate are optimized for 55-69 grain bullets, a sweet spot for most .223 Rem. and 5.56 NATO loads.
An Ergal 7075-T6 aluminum receiver keeps weight down while maintaining strength, and the matte black anodized finish matches the polymer handguard and stock. The fixed pistol-grip stock incorporates Comfortech recoil-reduction inserts, contributing to a 14-inch length of pull and noticeably softer shooting characteristics.
The MR1 ships with a 5-inch Picatinny rail for optics, yet retains fully adjustable ghost-ring sights and a hooded blade front for immediate readiness. A cross-bolt safety, vented polymer forend, and compatibility with any standard STANAG magazine round out a feature set that is uncommon among imported semi-automatic rifles.
