Introduced in August 2023, this optics-ready Mag Pug features an integral Picatinny rail machined into the topstrap, eliminating add-on mounts and keeping the sight line low.
The 3-inch stainless barrel carries a full underlug for balance and a lightening slot to trim weight, resulting in an unloaded mass of roughly 20–21 oz—comfortable for belt or shoulder carry.
A five-round cylinder chambers full-power .357 Mag loads and safely accepts .38 Special ammunition for lighter recoil training. Charter’s three-point lockup adds extra strength under heavy use.
The one-piece stainless frame is black passivated for a matte, non-reflective finish and fitted with a black rubber combat grip that absorbs recoil and fills the hand.
Double-action/single-action operation with an exposed spur hammer lets shooters stage precise SA shots or run rapid DA strings, while the transfer-bar system prevents the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is fully to the rear.
