What’s Included
- FN Hi-Power Pre-T Series 9mm pistol
- One 13-round steel Browning Hi-Power magazine
- Bianchi brown leather holster
Built on a forged carbon-steel frame, this Hi-Power showcases FN’s high-polish bluing from the late 1950s, giving the pistol a deep, mirror-like finish. The frame retains the original lanyard loop, a feature often deleted on later models, underscoring its early production status.
The slide uses the scarce internal extractor and vertical rear serrations found only on Pre-T Series guns. Collectors recognize this extractor style as a key distinction from later Hi-Powers, making surviving examples increasingly difficult to find.
Period-correct checkered walnut grips pair with the classic ring hammer, preserving the look and feel of the 1935 design. A pin-style magazine release and manual thumb safety round out the traditional single-action control set.
Belgian proofmarks crowned “PV” over star “* U” sit alongside the “Browning Arms Company St Louis & Montreal” address, confirming FN production for Browning’s North American market. Combined with the 1959 serial number 89642, these markings place the pistol squarely within the collectible Pre-T Series range.
