This Para USA 1911 Long Slide combines a factory-stretched 6 inch slide with thoughtfully chosen Wilson Combat and Pachmayr components. Built in Pineville, North Carolina between 2009 and 2015, it offers the familiar single-stack 1911 feel while adding a ventilated rib, lightening cuts, and an integral magwell funnel. The result is a long-sight-radius .45 ACP that balances custom performance features with Para’s proven stainless construction.

Rear cocking serrations offer positive purchase, while the Bo-Mar pattern rear sight and red fiber-optic front sight stretch the sight radius to 8.7 inches for precise sight alignment.
Wilson Combat’s match-grade barrel bushing tightens lock-up, supporting consistent accuracy. Underneath, a chain-link mainspring housing integrates a flared magwell funnel to speed reloads without adding bulk.
The skeletonized three-hole aluminum trigger and combat-style hammer cut weight from the fire-control components and deliver a crisp single-action break. An extended beavertail grip safety with memory bump, along with the traditional thumb safety, provides familiar 1911 controls and secure handling.
Pachmayr American Legend wrap-around grips pair rubber finger grooves with cocobolo wood inserts, blending comfort and tradition. Combined with the full-size stainless frame, capacity remains 8+1 rounds of .45 ACP power.
