This pre-1968 Remington Model 870 Wingmaster Riot Gun pairs classic Wingmaster polish with a compact 19-inch barrel that retains its factory “MOD 17” stamp but is now Cylinder bore. Its steel receiver, early corn-cob forend, and gloss-oil walnut stock showcase the first-generation 870 design, while the 4+1 tubular magazine keeps capacity ready for duty. What’s Included
- Remington Model 870 Wingmaster Riot Gun (no additional accessories)
Manufactured before 1968, this shotgun features the “V” serial suffix that confirms its 12-gauge, 2 ¾-inch receiver—an early hallmark of the Model 870 lineage.
The 19-inch steel barrel wears a fresh blue finish and, although still stamped “MOD 17,” now patterns as a Cylinder choke, creating an ideal pattern for close-range control. A simple brass bead front sight keeps aiming fast and uncluttered.
Walnut furniture is finished in high-gloss oil. The corn-cob grooved forend and 14-inch length of pull stock reflect classic Wingmaster styling while offering a solid, ergonomic grip under recoil.
A polished blued carbon-steel receiver, steel trigger-plate assembly, and REP proof mark underscore the shotgun’s U.S. build quality. The internal tubular magazine holds four shells, with one more in the chamber for a 4+1 total capacity.
