Introduced in 1935 and produced through 1950, the Model 141 was Remington’s answer to hunters who preferred a fast follow-up shot without sacrificing powerful rifle cartridges. This rifle’s 24-inch blued steel barrel feeds from a 5-round spiral-fluted magazine that prevents bullet tip damage while cycling.
The takedown mechanism allows the barrel and receiver to separate quickly for easy transport and cleaning—an uncommon convenience on rifles of its era. A 13.5-inch length of pull and pistol-grip walnut stock provide comfortable handling, while the grooved walnut forend ensures positive slide control even with gloves.
Sighting is handled by an integral ramp bead front and a folding elevator rear, giving the shooter a clear sight picture for woods ranges where the .35 Rem excels. The brass cartridge-head medallion on the left receiver wall is a distinctive Gamemaster hallmark and remains crisp on this example.
