- Factory-installed scope rail
The SB2 receiver, identified by its “NS” serial prefix, allows the owner to fit additional factory-fitted barrels, giving this rifle a flexible role in the field or at the range.
Its break-open action is simple, strong, and quick to load, complemented by an exposed hammer with a transfer-bar safety, rebounding hammer, and half-cock notch—features covered under U.S. Patent 3985848.
The 22-inch carbon-steel barrel wears a deep blued finish and uses a 1:10 right-hand twist that stabilizes a wide range of .243 Win. bullet weights for varmints or medium game.
The satin-walnut hardwood stock and schnabel fore-end add classic appeal while the ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer soaks up recoil and keeps length of pull at a comfortable 14 inches.
Discontinued in 2015, Handi-Rifles remain valued for their no-nonsense durability and affordability. This early-2000s example delivers that reputation in a caliber suited to hunters and target shooters alike.
