This 2013 Patriot Ordnance Factory P-308 is the direct-impingement variant of POF’s flagship .308 platform. Built on fully ambidextrous 7075-T6 billet receivers with a nickel/Cerakote two-tone finish, it features a fluted 14.5-inch 4150 CMV barrel pinned and welded with POF’s triple-port muzzle brake to meet the 16-inch minimum overall length. Lightweight, smartly engineered, and chambered in 7.62 NATO, it balances battle-ready durability with refined machining details collectors and shooters will notice immediately.

POF’s E² dual-extraction chamber geometry and roller-cam pin system reduce friction and improve reliability, while the heat-sink barrel nut helps manage temperature during sustained fire. These engineering touches set the P-308 apart from standard AR-10 rifles.
The 14.5-inch fluted barrel cuts weight, promotes faster cooling, and is nitrided for corrosion resistance. A pinned & welded POF triple-port muzzle brake tames recoil and brings the barrel assembly to a compliant 16-inch overall length.
Fully ambidextrous controls include the safety selector, magazine release, and bolt release, making the rifle easy to run from either shoulder. The enlarged mag release speeds reloads, and the rifle accepts common SR-25 pattern magazines.
A free-floating 13-inch aluminum quad-rail handguard offers ample space for accessories, while the Magpul ACS six-position stock and Magpul polymer pistol grip provide a comfortable, adjustable interface. The 12-inch length of pull suits most shooters right out of the box.
