Released in 2024, the Bodyguard 2.0 NTS represents the latest evolution of Smith & Wesson’s micro-carry line. By redesigning the magazine, S&W achieved a 12 + 1 capacity—currently the highest offered in any .380 ACP pistol under one inch thick—without enlarging the grip frame.
The stainless-steel barrel and slide wear Smith & Wesson’s durable Armornite treatment, providing corrosion resistance and a uniform matte-black finish. Deep front and rear serrations ensure positive slide manipulation even with wet or gloved hands.
A dovetailed tritium night-sight set consists of an orange-outlined front dot and a black U-notch rear, giving the pistol 24-hour sight visibility without relying on batteries.
The flat-face trigger features an integral safety blade and a short, tactile reset, supporting consistent press and rapid follow-up shots. Internal safeties include a trigger lever and a striker block, maintaining security without an external thumb safety.
