Built by the Smith & Wesson Performance Center, this full-size M&P40 receives a factory-tuned sear for a cleaner, lighter break compared to standard models. The Pro Series designation brings competition-ready enhancements without sacrificing duty-grade durability.
The stainless steel slide wears a black Armornite nitride finish and features wavy rear serrations for confident manipulation. Its C.O.R.E. optic cut accepts six popular mini-red-dot footprints—Trijicon RMR, Leupold Delta Point, JPoint, Doctor, C-More STS, and Insight MRDS—so the shooter can mount a preferred sight with no gunsmithing.
Tall white 3-dot iron sights are suppressor/optic height, allowing an immediate co-witness through most MRDS windows. An ambidextrous slide stop and reversible magazine catch support both right- and left-handed use.
The 4.25" stainless steel barrel, striker-fired action, and polymer frame keep weight manageable while delivering the muzzle energy of the .40 S&W cartridge. Interchangeable palmswell grip inserts help tailor fit to the shooter’s hand, and an integral accessory rail is ready for lights or lasers.
