Benelli Nova Compact 20 Gauge Pump Shotgun, 24" Crio Barrel, 3" Chamber
Benelli’s Nova Compact pairs the rugged Nova platform with a shorter 13" length of pull and a 24" Crio-treated barrel, making it a light-handling, youth-friendly 20 gauge that still accepts 3" shells. A one-piece steel-reinforced technopolymer receiver and stock keep weight down and strength high, while the rotating-head bolt and mag-stop cutoff add versatility rarely found on pump actions.

- Benelli Nova Compact 20 Gauge shotgun
- Benelli Nova/SuperNova Line owner's manual
- Set of Benelli Crio choke tubes: Improved Cylinder, Modified, Full
- Benelli choke tube wrench
The 24" Crio-treated barrel uses Benelli’s screw-in choke system and ships with IC, Modified, and Full tubes, giving the shooter ready-to-go patterns for everything from upland birds to clay games.
A mag-stop button just ahead of the trigger guard lets you unload the chamber without cycling additional shells from the tubular magazine—handy when switching loads or clearing the gun safely.
The Nova’s signature one-piece receiver and stock are molded from steel-reinforced technopolymer for weather resistance and structural rigidity. This Compact version retains the strength of the full-size gun while shortening the length of pull to 13", suiting smaller-framed shooters or anyone wearing heavy hunting clothing.
Controls are straightforward: a ribbed polymer forend cycles the rotating-head bolt smoothly, while a cross-bolt safety sits just aft of the trigger. A red fiber-optic front bead and metal mid bead ride atop the ventilated rib for quick sight alignment in varied light.
The tubular magazine is currently plugged for a 2 + 1 capacity, compliant with migratory bird regulations. The knurled magazine cap doubles as both a front sling stud and a takedown tool, streamlining field maintenance.
