A forged receiver marked “U.S. RIFLE 7.62 MM M25 LRB ARMS” forms the rifle’s core. The integrated Picatinny rail allows direct mounting of optics without additional bases, a key improvement over standard M14 receivers.
The 22-inch Criterion barrel is cut from 4140 chrome-moly steel, features a 1:12 right-hand twist, and wears a phosphated finish that matches the receiver. Its medium contour balances accuracy with manageable weight, and the muzzle is threaded for flash hiders, brakes, or suppressors.
Gas operation is handled by a short-stroke piston system, preserving the M14’s reliability while reducing felt recoil. Standard M14 aperture sights—protected front post with ears and windage/elevation-adjustable rear drum—offer a dependable back-up to optics.
