The forged steel receiver is cut with 11 mm dovetail grooves, allowing easy mounting of rimfire optics without additional bases. A visible cocking indicator at the bolt tail provides immediate status confirmation.
Its 24-inch carbon-steel barrel is hammer-forged for uniform rifling and cold-blued for corrosion resistance. Combined with a 1:16 right-hand twist and dual extractors, the rifle feeds and ejects standard .22 LR loads smoothly.
The oil-finished beech hardwood stock delivers a 13.5-inch length of pull and houses an adjustable trigger, letting shooters fine-tune pull weight to their preference. A steel butt-plate with CZ medallion protects the stock and adds a traditional touch.
Sighting options include a hooded post front sight on a soldered ramp and a tangent rear sight graduated from 25 to 200 meters. The rifle also shares its magazine family with the later CZ 455/457 series, simplifying spare-mag procurement.
