Ruger engineered the American Pistol Compact Pro for left- and right-handed shooters. The slide stop, magazine release, and takedown lever are mirrored on both sides, making controls intuitive regardless of shooting hand.
The 3.75-inch stainless-steel barrel is left in its natural stainless finish and has a 1:10 RH twist optimized for .45 ACP bullets. Combined with the rigid chassis and short take-up trigger, the pistol maintains consistent accuracy in a compact package.
Novak LoMount Carry three-dot sights ride in standard Novak dovetails—the first on a Ruger striker pistol—so the user can easily substitute aftermarket sights if desired. The factory orange/red front post pairs with a white two-dot rear for quick sight alignment.
The modular grip system includes interchangeable backstraps, while the aftermarket re-texture adds extra purchase without altering the pistol’s factory dimensions. An integral three-slot 1913 rail allows mounting of lights or lasers.
