Glock G22 Gen 3 RTF2 .40 S&W – Rare “Fish-Gill” Slide, Early-Production Frame, 15+1 Capacity
This Glock G22 Gen 3 RTF2 combines the short-lived “fish-gill” slide serrations with the aggressive early RTF2 frame texture, making it a scarce variant produced only in 2009–2010. Chambered in .40 S&W and factory-finished in Tenifer-treated matte black, it offers the proven Glock Safe Action system in a configuration prized by collectors and shooters alike.

The RTF2 (Rough Textured Frame 2) grip features hundreds of micro spikes that enhance control without adding bulk. This exact texture was offered for roughly one year, making surviving examples uncommon—especially in the full-size G22 format.
The slide wears the distinctive “fish-gill” rear serrations, another feature unique to this period. These curved cuts provide a firm grasp while setting the pistol apart from standard straight-serration models.
A 4.49-inch ordnance-steel barrel with Tenifer nitriding pairs with Glock’s striker-fired Safe Action system, delivering consistent ignition and corrosion resistance. Fixed polymer sights with a white-dot front and white-outline rear offer a familiar sight picture.
Factory rails on the dust cover support weapon lights or lasers, and the 15-round standard capacity (shipped here with two 15-round magazines) keeps the pistol compliant in restrictive jurisdictions while preserving full-size performance.
