Built in 2024 under Nighthawk’s One Gun, One Gunsmith program by master smith Nick James, this Complete Custom Stipple (CCS) Commander pairs a 4.25" match-grade 10mm barrel with full-coverage hand stippling and the factory-installed IOS Interchangeable Optic System. Limited annual production, premium stainless construction, and its rare 10mm chambering make this commander-length 1911 a standout for shooters and collectors alike.

The CCS package delivers full-coverage hand stippling on the slide, frame, controls, and cocobolo grips, providing aggressive purchase without added bulk. Complementing the texture, both slide and frame wear a stainless bead-blast finish with polished flats for a subtle two-tone look.
Inside, a 4.25" match-grade stainless barrel is flush-crowned for optimal accuracy and protected muzzle edges. Chambered in 10mm Auto, the pistol offers potent ballistics in a compact commander profile while feeding from reliable 9-round magazines.
Nighthawk’s IOS system is factory-machined into the slide, allowing fast mounting of a Trijicon RMR/SRO (or other compatible optic) while preserving a clean sight picture with Heinie Straight-Eight tritium irons when the plate is installed.
The single-action Series 70 mechanism features a solid medium-length trigger, skeletonized ring hammer, extended thumb safety, and grip safety—all tuned for a crisp break and positive reset. Angled front and rear cocking serrations further aid slide manipulation.
This pistol is both rare and collectible, representing Nighthawk’s limited annual custom output and the craftsmanship of a single gunsmith. Its 10mm chambering, complete custom stippling, and optic-ready slide set it apart from standard production 1911s.
