Built in the SIG Sauer Custom Shop, the SAS variant receives an extensive de-horning process that removes all sharp edges on the slide and controls. This Anti-Snag finish helps prevent printing and clothing abrasion when carried concealed.
The pistol’s micro size pairs a 3-inch carbon steel barrel with an aluminum alloy frame, keeping weight low while preserving the durable, all-metal feel. Single-action-only operation, an exposed spur hammer, and an ambidextrous thumb safety give 1911-style control in a modern, striker-free design.
A bead-blasted stainless slide contrasts with the black anodized frame for a distinctive two-tone appearance. Checkered hardwood grip panels with inlaid SIG SAUER medallions add texture and visual appeal without bulk.
SIGLITE three-dot tritium night sights remain standard on this original SAS configuration, offering clear sight pictures in low light without the later FT Bullseye optic. The single-stack magazine design provides a 7+1 capacity while maintaining the pistol’s slim profile.
This firearm ships with two factory 7-round magazines and a SIG Sauer hard case that is not the original SAS-marked box, making it ready for range use or discreet daily carry right out of the package.
